Party games, like Human: Fall Flat, have seen something of a resurgence in popularity in recent years, and, building on that success, Sitara Shefta and Will Dudley have officially announced Pretty Cool Games, a new, fully remote indie studio based in the UK. The studio is promising a new IP and has reportedly secured funding from Coreblazer, the investment arm of HyperGryph, the Shanghai-based studio responsible for Arknights.

South Korean container ship will test Arctic route to Europe amid Western concern

South Korea will flag off ⁠on Saturday a container ship bound for Europe via the Arctic , testing whether a route opened by melting sea ice can be commercially viable, but risking friction with Western allies, as the voyage requires Russian cooperation.

Rescue mission for ageing Nasa space telescope fails

A mission to ⁠rescue Nasa’s ageing Swift observatory in space was cancelled on Wednesday after the spacecraft that was launched to tug the satellite to a higher orbit suffered irredeemable technical issues in space, the rescue craft’s owner, Katalyst Space, said.
