A Vaughan mother is frustrated after waiting years to access the provincial autism program, with no clear end in sight.

Thousands mourn ex-Cambridge professor Jason Arday in London vigil

Thousands of people gathered in central London late on Monday to hold a vigil for black academic Jason Arday, blaming racism and relentless media pressure for his death last week.

The vigil in central Trafalgar Square came as the head of Cambridge University on Monday condemned a “racist feeding frenzy” prompted by plagiarism claims against Arday.

The US-based company confirmed the issue Saturday and says its network is now back to normal. FFmpeg Lands H.265 Vulkan Encode Performance Optimizations

The FFmpeg multimedia library can now enjoy faster H.265/HEVC video encoding with the Vulkan-powered encode path. With the optimizations merged today, the H.265 encode performance should be roughly at parity to the H.264 encode speed.

An optimization patch was merged to FFmpeg Git today for speeding up hevc_vulkan in following some of the same tuning as h264_vulkan. The commit message explains as well as providing some performance numbers:
