Winter Ice and Snow Storm Hits St. Louis Hard
The video below simply shows some clips I shot in front of my condo during this year's major snow and ice storm that's hitting St. Louis as of the posting of this blog entry. The video was shot handheld, and you can hear the loud and constant patter of the sleet hitting the ground.
So far we have half an inch of sleet, but the sleet should be changing to snow soon. Some areas of Metro St. Louis should have over a foot (approaching two feet!)

One Billion Stories - Catholic Stories
I just had dinner last night with a great young Catholic, Seth DeMoor, who is from Colorado and runs a (relatively) new Catholic website, One Billion Stories.com .
The website has a pretty simple premise: go around the world, collecting stories of some of the billion-plus Catholics, and post them as five-minute videos to the website.
Seth seems like he has a pretty good idea, and the videos cover a lot of great stories. I like the idea, and I hope Seth
Integrate a Webform (3.x) with PayPal
For quite some time, I've wanted to integrate a particular webform with PayPal, since many nonprofits I help use that payment service. With older versions of PayPal, one could add some PHP code into a webform on the site to do this, but it was (a) hackish, and (b) a much less maintainable and secure way of accomplishing the goal I was trying to achieve.
