Scarborough car crash sends 5 people to hospital
Five people were sent to a hospital, one in critical condition, on Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Scarborough.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Sheppard Avenue East and Kennedy Road just before 1:15 p.m.
Authorities say the drivers remained at the scene and that five people sustained injuries.
One person’s injuries were described as life-threatening while four others had minor injuries. They were all brought to a hospital for treatment.

Israeli air strikes on southern Lebanon killed at least 11 people on Saturday, in the deadliest attacks since a truce between Israel and Hezbollah went into effect on June 20.

Search underway for missing pilot who ‘failed to return’ to Oshawa Airport
Authorities in Kawartha Lakes and Durham Region are searching for a small plane which they say “has failed to return as expected.”
In a statement issued Saturday morning, Ontario Provincial Police said they are seeking assistance from the public in locating the aircraft which is described as a small single-seat blue plane with “FOFZ” on the tail.
