在過度歡快的消費社會裡，「苦」在大眾傳播層面必須被壓抑的（否則它會令消費機器無法運作）；一旦予以呈現，卻又難免極度煽情，並且始終以消費的形式去弭解痛楚。我們注目災難、流淚、捐款、忘記。

I'll admit it; I'm slow sometimes. For a very long time now I haven'treally gotten why people keep sprinkling AJAX over their web pages(partly because I assiduously use NoScript and so mostly don't seeit). Oh, I understood that you needed it to create actual applicationson the web and that it could be convenient for making vaguely friendlythings, but I didn't really understand it in the context of relativelyordinary web apps like DWiki .
