Why I'm Switching Back from Chrome to Safari 5.0
Chrome was great. It was Safari , with a little more speed, better tabs, and a cool status bar that would only show when it needed to.
But I'm switching back, for the following reasons:
- Safari 5.0 is just as fast as Chrome.
- Safari's tab system is nicer looking than Chrome. Not a biggie.
- Safari can read PDFs without opening up an external application, and without downloading it to your Downloads folder. I hate having to clear out my Downloads folder every day
Making the Linux kernel shut up about segfaulting user programs
Relatively modern versions of the Linux kernel on some architecturesdefault to logging a kernel message about any process that receivesvarious unhandled signals. The exact details depend on the architecture,but I think it is common for the architectures to log messages aboutunhandled SIGSEGV s, ie segmentation faults.

The challenges of shared spares in RAID arrays
It's getting popular these days for RAID implementations to support whatI've heard called 'shared spares'; spare disks that are shared betweenmultiple RAID arrays, so that that they can be used by any array thathappens to need them. This is an attractive idea because it gives youbetter protection against moderate problems than you could get withdedicated spares. (If you have large problems you run out of spares, ofcourse.)
The problem with shared spares is that they are pretty muchintrinsically hard

flickr應用工具搜集
總於頂不順facebook做相片的database令相片質素變差，又頂不順用微博做連結，在神推鬼使之下，為拿回之前的舊相，用37美元，申請了flickr的pro acc，沒有用過，不知效果，但見好多有本事的人都使用，就當是一個例常開支，支持一下快倒
光圈 快門 iso 再認識
用了菲林機以後，像diana f+，海鷗等都是沒有測光的，在這個情況下就算用dc或dslr測光，都可能出現在自己做出換算的情況。看來有必要再重新了解一下光圈 快門和iso的配搭，以及數值轉換的方式。
