不得不承認，我對那些喪屍、怪獸、災難片的確有舖癮，除了看怪物如何核突，還看人類在絕境與驚慌中的反應。荷里活年中也生產不少這類影片，有高手有低手，而《霧地異煞》 (The Mist) 算是高手。
