This week, we:

• got 15,751 messages from 307 different IP addresses.
• handled 19,911 sessions from 1,047 different IP addresses.
• received 154,477 connections from at least 38,870 different IPaddresses.
• hit a highwater of 9 connections being checked at once.

This is all about the same level as last week , or at most down a little bit.Oddly, we show a bit of a volume

As a followup to an an earlier entry , here's what I've worked out abouthow to use the standard Gnome automount and other stuff in your owncustom environment. All of this is based on Fedora Core 5, but I thinkit's probably generic to any modern Gnome-based system.

The Gnome automount stuff is done by gnome-volume-manager , which runsas the user and communicates with the system HAL daemon to do all theactual work. This just mounts things when they'

Locales are intrinsically a user interface issue; you want to presentinformation to the user in their specific local format. The Unix $LANG approach is intrinsically because commands have no idea whether they arepresenting information to the user
