Driver crashes into parked TPS vehicle which then struck pedestrian: police
A driver crashed into a parked Toronto Police Service vehicle which rolled, striking a pedestrian on a sidewalk in the Vaughan Road and St. Clair Avenue West area on Wednesday night, police said.
The chain reaction crash happened at around 5:34 p.m.
Police say the driver remained on scene, and the pedestrian suffered minor injuries.
There’s no word at this point on possible charges.
Vaughan Road has been closed from St. Clair to Louis Avenue.

U.S. District Judge Susan Watters in Billings sentenced Harvey Hugs, 60, after he pleaded guilty in September to being a felon in possession of firearms. Prosecutors said the Hardin, Montana, man used the guns to shoot federally protected eagles over more than a year and then sold the birds’ parts to an informant for profit
Ali’s lawyers fear dead girl’s dad, as police probe claim he brought gun to court
VANCOUVER — The father of a murdered 13-year-old girl has been under police investigation for allegedly bringing a gun into a Vancouver courtroom on the day that Ibrahim Ali was convicted of the killing, the man’s lawyer has told a hearing.
Lawyers for Ali are refusing to show up to court for post-trial proceedings citing safety concerns about the man, who can’t be named because of a publication ban on the identity of the murdered girl.
