XChat, X’s standalone messaging app, launching with these features [U]

XChat, the standalone messaging app from X, now has a new release date.

X’s new iPhone and iPad app will arrive this week.

An App Store listing for the messaging app shows a preview of the design, including a detailed icon, and an April 24th release date.

It was originally set for April 17th.

XChat will allow users to “chat with anyone on X in a private, focused space built for conversation,” according to the app’s description.
