Mac Studio delivery ‘4-5 months’ out for top RAM after Apple dropped 512GB option

Apple doesn’t typically sell you a product four to five months before delivery. There’s nothing typical about the global memory shortage, though. AI servers need a lot of RAM, and that’s seriously affecting Apple’s top Mac RAM inventory.

Apple releases first iOS 26.5 public beta

Apple has released the first iOS 26.5 public beta. The update follows the first developer beta release on Monday and a new revision earlier today.

While there’s no Gemini-powered AI features , the update does include a few changes.

The most discoverable new feature in iOS 26.5 is included in Maps. The new “Suggested Places” feature is now part of search in Apple Maps.

Apple also continues to test end-to-end encryption for RCS in beta.
