OpenAI hits rewind on a ChatGPT feature after users notice strange behavior

Since last week, OpenAI has deployed and recalled an update to ChatGPT after virtually all users complained about a bizarre behavior. The company explains what happened in a blog post published tonight.

ChatGPT users want the chatbot to be more personable and less clinical. Anthropic’s Claude chatbot is often described as more human-like in its responses compared to OpenAI’s more formulaic response style.

Apple continues leadership changes in two more divisions

Bloomberg reports that Apple has restructured leadership across two more divisions, only this time Siri isn’t to blame .

Mark Gurman reports that Apple has made changes to Apple Music and global affairs leadership. Changes to the music division come in the form of two new deputies reporting to Oliver Schusser:

In the music overhaul, the group will now be overseen by longtime executive Rachel Newman as well as TikTok music veteran Ole Obermann. The two will co-manage Apple Music under Schusser.
