French court rules that authorities can scan social media posts for evidence of tax evasion

In brief: Authorities are always looking for advantages in their battle against tax dodgers, and it seems France's government just got such a boon. Thanks to a recent ruling from the country's Constitutional Court, tax collectors will soon be able to examine the social media accounts of potential tax evaders for evidence of wrongdoing.

League of Legends looks absolutely stunning in Unreal Engine 4

In brief: An indie game developer named Wayne S. has completely reworked the Summoner’s Rift map in League of Legends using Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 and the results are mind-blowing.

In a YouTube clip highlighting the map, Wayne said he worked on the project a few hours each day over a three-week span. His goal was to convert Summoner’s Rift into a more realistic map while maintaining its core layout. He developed both a top-down and first-person view.

IoT maker Wyze suffers data leak, exposes personal data of 2.4 million customers

What just happened? IoT vendor Wyze, which makes budget smart devices such as security cameras and smart door locks, has confirmed it accidentally left an internal database exposed online, leaking the details of up to 2.4 million customers.
