A OnePlus 13 smartphone comically exits through a door against a dark background

CineStill 50D Is a Perfect Slow Speed Film for Bright Summer Days

Several CineStill 50D Daylight film boxes are arranged among vintage and toy cameras outdoors, with trees and sunlight in the background.

Cinestill 50D is the less popular sibling to Cinestill’s 800T and 400D emulsions. Because 50D often gets passed over in favor of those other two, we figured it would be a great film to feature on Film Friday. It is a different and lovely film in its own right and deserves a bit more attention than it receives.

So when Meike sponsored this latest product Showcase and sent over the $569 85mm f/1.4 Mix II AF STM, I headed right out the door. The Calgary Stampede is an annual fair that brings

When Joël Lapointe was planning an epic camping trip through the Côte-Nord region of Quebec on Google Maps, an area gave him pause for thought: it looked like a giant meteor crater.

“I get lots of messages from the public thinking they have found a crater and 99/100 turn out not to be the case,” Gordon Osinski, a planetary geology professor at Western University, tells Live Science . “This is one of those rare examples that shows this is possible
