Crucial enters the DDR5 market with its first UDIMM and SODIMM modules

The DDR5 memory technology is no longer a domain only for Chinese manufacturers. A US-based Crucial has showcased its first modules as well.

Crucial has showcased both desktop and laptop memory form factor. This is the first look at 32GB SODIMM modules with 4800 Mhz frequency and a default voltage of 1.1V. The same specifications apply to desktop UDIMM modules, except they feature fewer chips which results in 8GB capacity

CDPR releases Cyberpunk 1.22 Hotfix for PC, Stadia, Xbox and PlayStation

Hotfix 1.22 for Cyberpunk 2077 is live on PC, consoles and Stadia.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 “Lite Hash Rate” series to begin shipping mid May

We received an update on the upcoming GAxx2 NVIDIA GPU series featuring a new cryptomining limiter.

NVIDIA has provided an update to its partners in regard to upcoming GAxx2 chips. Those GPUs will feature a new cryptocurrency mining limiter and most likely RezisableBAR support without a need for a vBIOS update.

NVIDIA is expecting GAxx2 chips to start shipping in the middle of May, which means that first customers may receive their cards in June. Our sources have been quite clear that NVIDIA has no plans to differentiate LHR

Intel confirmed it will be refreshing its ultra-low power Tiger Lake CPUs.

In 2021 Intel will be launching multiple architectures: Rocket Lake, Jasper Lake, Ice Lake Xeon, Alder Lake, and Tiger Lake-H. The Tiger Lake series are now divided into four groups, but according to AnandTech , that list is soon to be increased to five. It seems that we finally have a launch date for Intel’s 11th Gen Core H-Series.

On May 11th ASUS will officially unleash ‘a Tiger’. A teaser has been posted on social media two weeks in advance. The teaser indicates that on May 11th the company will unveil its Tiger Lake-H-based gaming laptops. Such events usually follow the official embargo, which may take place on the same day or a day before.
