NVIDIA confirms its roadmap for datacenters

Today NVIDIA revealed its plans for the next four years for datacenters.

NVIDIA confirms that their architecture will have “a 2-year rhythm with a kicker in-between”. The founder and CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang said during his GTC 2021 keynote that the company will now focus on x86 architecture only to focus on ARM the year later. The company will offer solutions that can be adopted for both architectures to fit the requirements of their customers, Jensen said.

The reasons why exactly are unknown, but we have heard that CMP cards are built to order, which may explain why AIBs themselves are reluctant to even acknowledge that such graphics cards exist.

GALAX teases its next-generation DDR5 memory

On Facebook, the manufacturer has revealed that the “GALAX DDR5 Memory module is coming soon….”.

The DDR5 technology is currently not supported by any existing PC platform, but it will be supported by upcoming Intel Alder Lake and AMD Zen4 processors. The Intel platform with DDR5 support is expected by the end of this year, whereas there is no information on the next-generation AMD consumer products that would support DDR5.

What we do know is that NVIDIA Atlan is the next-generation SoC for the automobile industry. It seems that NVIDIA is still using names from the Aquaman franchise. Samsung is preparing to launch a refreshed model of an ultra-premium gaming monitor.

A new listing had appeared on the Chinese Taobao website featuring yet unreleased Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. Last month Samsung announced that its flagship G9 model will receive an upgrade. The manufacturer did not go into details, but they did confirm that the updated panel will have a Quantum MiniLED panel. Thanks to the leak from Taobao, we learn a few more details.
