Geekbench has published a deeper analysis of Intel’s Binary Optimization Tool , or BOT, after previously warning that some recent Intel benchmark results may not be directly comparable with standard runs. Memory prices are finally falling, DDR4 sticks drop by $14 in a single day in China

After months of straight increases, DRAM pricing is finally starting to crack. TrendForce says DDR5 retail prices in Germany posted their first monthly decline in March after eight months of gains , while some U.S. kits have already dropped more than 20% from recent peaks.

In China, retail pricing has also turned lower, with TrendForce citing a move from roughly RMB 1,300 to RMB 1,000 for mainstream 16GB DDR5

NVIDIA has started rolling out DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation 6X through the opt-in NVIDIA app beta. The new overrides are limited to GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and NVIDIA says GeForce Game Ready Driver 595.79 WHQL or newer is required. Needless to say, this update is only for RTX 50 owners, NVIDIA even provided a chart that shows RTX 40 clealry falling behind in supported features.

Microsoft expands Xbox app handheld tools with Display widget

Microsoft has quietly updated the Xbox app on Windows with a new Display widget and new notification placement controls, according to a report from ROGAllyLife. The site says the overlay now exposes display resolution, projection mode, and Auto Super Resolution settings directly inside the Xbox interface, with the change aimed at handheld use on the ROG Xbox Ally X. Xbox Support also maintains an active Xbox app on PC changelog, which suggests the feature is part of the normal app update track.

NVIDIA has released GeForce NOW 2.0.83, and the update puts Apple Vision Pro in a more visible position than before. According to NVIDIA’s release notes, Ultimate members can now stream on Apple Vision Pro at up to 4K and 90 FPS , which is higher than the resolutions listed for Pico and Meta Quest devices in the same update.
