In Digital Foundry’s interview, Cerny said the new PSSR uses the same core co-developed algorithm as FSR Upscaling, but with a different implementation because AMD’s PC version uses FP8 while PSSR on PS5 Pro uses INT8.

AMD adds GFX1171 and GFX1172 to its “RDNA 4m” graphics family

AMD appears to be expanding its new RDNA 4m graphics branch in LLVM. A pending pull request adds GFX1171 and GFX1172 alongside the earlier GFX1170 target, and all three are listed under the same RDNA 4m section.
