NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 and AMD Radeon RX 6000 pricing drops by 5 percent point, but still not at MSRP

GPU Pricing slowly reaching MSRP

3DCenter released their latest GPU pricing report. Sadly, this is still not the last report, which would probably be the case if GPU prices have reached MSRP.

Graphics cards are indeed cheaper than 3 weeks ago (which is how frequent the report is released). Overall, we are looking at 5 percent point lower pricing for both Radeon and GeForce cards, which means a drop from 12% to 7% for RX 6000 series and 19% to 14


NVIDIA LHR cryptomining lock has also been cracked for Linux

NVIDIA LHR unlock now available for Linux

NBMiner (NebuMiner) team has also pathed their software that unlocks 100% of mining performance on GeForce RTX 30 GPUs.

This follows the report that the NiceHash team has successfully removed the hashrate limiter from NVIDIA cards. NBMiner is now also available with 100% LHR unlock for RTX 30 GPUs. Both software is closed-source, so we can’t see how exactly was the LHR cracked (it would be very interesting for sure).

ASUS to launch its own ROG STRIX SQ7 NVMe SSD

Taiwanese company may soon become one of the first big brands to offer all PC components branded under their own name.

ASUS has just posted a teaser of its upcoming NVMe SSD. The company has not released its SSD before, which confirms that ASUS will embark onto a new PC hardware market soon. The teaser posted on ASUS ROG Taiwan social page shows a ROG STRIX SQ7 NVMe SSD drive. This particular model would offer 1TB of storage through M.2 PCIe Gen4 interface.
