This Raspberry Pi HamClock is Perfect for Amateur Radio Enthusiasts

If you're into amateur ham radio, you might appreciate this Raspberry Pi Ham clock project created and shared earlier this week by Reddit user The2belo.

It uses a Raspberry Pi to display local and UTC time information. The2belo mounted the Raspberry Pi inside of the monitor, making the unit entirely self-contained.

Tested: X570 Motherboards Can Overjuice Ryzen, But Rarely Do

HWinfo claims that X570 motherboards from a variety of manufacturers are guilty of underreporting power to Ryzen CPUs so the chips will go faster at stock settings, but at the possible expense of chip longevity. Intel Demos Tiger Lake's Xe Graphics on Early Laptop Sample with Battlefield V

We're getting our first look at Tiger Lake's graphics performance using Intel Xe graphics, courtesy of Ryan Shrout, the company's chief performance strategist.

Mythic Beasts, a private ISP hosting platform, announced the addition of the Raspberry Pi 4 to its Raspberry Pi Cloud service this week. Users can now choose to use a Raspberry Pi 4 model to host their server needs, a considerable upgrade to the previously offered Raspberry Pi 3.

Mythic Beasts pegs its Pi hosting service as a great way to access Pi hardware and Raspberry Pi OS "backed by network storage" and pay for it monthly, quarterly, annually or on demand.

SilverStone Launches Aluminum Case For Raspberry Pi 4

SilverStone, makers of PC cases have made something a little smaller for their latest product. The SST-PI02B is an all aluminium case made for the Raspberry Pi 4. This passively cooled case claims to drop temperatures by around 14 degrees Celsius using two heatsinks, one for the CPU and the other for the RAM. The aluminium case provides additional heat dissipation using a series of fins which maximise the surface area available for cooling.
