A sysadmin mistake: shooting your virtual foot off
Here is a mistake that we've actually made more than once.
We have NFS fileservers , and to enable basic NFS server failover ) each of them has both itsreal hostname (and IP) and a virtual IP alias. Post Photos/Images to Your Drupal Site from the iPad
Now that I have effectively replaced my laptop with an iPad, I need an easy/quick way to post a photo or two from my iPad to my blog. I use Photogene as a simple Photoshop replacement on the iPad (it actually works pretty well, for being limited to 256 MB of RAM and a 1024x768 display).

New MobileMe Mail Features - Server-Side Rules!!
The day has finally come for cloud-based rules in the MobileMe world :-)
I have been an iTools -> .Mac -> MobileMe user through the whole ride (starting the day after iTools was open for new users), and the service has had me wanting to leave for some time... and I still might in a year or two. However, server-side mail sorting rules (along with other new features of the online webmail client ) are a huge boon for me:
