Intel enforces strict tariff compliance for steel and aluminum shipments amid new U.S. tariffs

On the surface, it might appear the semiconductor industry does not use a lot of aluminum or stainless steel, but they actually do use these materials for several types of products. Now that the U.S. has imposed new 25% tariffs on these metals and eliminated all exemptions, Intel and other companies must comply, which is why Intel is introducing new compliance policies for its suppliers.
