NVIDIA and TSMC celebrate first U.S made Blackwell wafer

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang visited TSMC’s new fab in Phoenix, Arizona, to mark the production of the first NVIDIA Blackwell wafer made on U.S. soil. The announcement confirms that Blackwell GPUs have entered volume production, with both companies talking about their role in strengthening America’s semiconductor supply chain.
At the event, Huang and TSMC vice president Y.L. Wang signed the first wafer, highlighting the partnership’s goal of building the AI
