GPU prices climb across markets
Literally every current-gen GPU card is now more expensive.

Normally we discuss country or region-specific pricing, which does not always reflect what is happening globally. TechSpot tried to solve that by comparing the lowest in-stock prices for 14 current-generation graphics cards across 10 regions, using a November 2025 snapshot and an updated set from February 2026. The dataset tracks the cheapest available listings per country at the time, not average street prices and not a single retailer.
RTX 5090 and RTX 5070 Ti lead the price hike charts
At this point, the supply situation for some GeForce models looks difficult to ignore. NVIDIA has denied claims that RTX 5070 Ti production was being wound down, but the pricing trend lines up with what you would expect from tightening availability. In TechSpot’s tables, the RTX 5070 Ti is up 25% on average versus November, with increases ranging from the mid-teens to close to 40% depending on the market. With the RTX 5080 also showing large increases, the pricing gap between the two has narrowed in several regions. If the cheapest models already in-channel keep selling through without consistent replacements, the remaining inventory tends to skew upward in price.
In the same dataset, the largest overall increase belongs to the RTX 5090. TechSpot describes it as rising 32% from November to February, with some regions showing extreme jumps, including +54% in India and +50% in Poland, alongside +40% in the US. That is on top of already high pricing at launch, which makes the card an outlier compared to the rest of the stack.
Radeon and Intel see smaller gains, but are still affected
The AMD and Intel results look more restrained overall, though they are not immune to the broader market shift. TechSpot notes that AMD’s RX 9070 series averaged 7% increases over the period, with most regions staying in single digits. Intel’s Arc pricing moved less overall, and TechSpot’s tables even show Arc B570 pricing down in several countries.
The bigger picture is that the entire set of 14 GPUs still moved upward. TechSpot puts the cross-market average at about 15% over roughly three months , so even where pricing increases look modest, the global baseline is still higher than it was in November.
