2500W RTX 5090 Lightning BIOS appears, flashing it WILL void the warranty

A BIOS file claimed to be the 2500W “XOC” BIOS for the RTX 5090 Lightning is now available for download on Overclock forums. It was leaked by dboom, who appears to have some kind of track record doing such leaks in the past.
This is actually the first time a 2500W BIOS has been leaked for RTX 5090. This BIOS is only available for XOC boards known as RTX 5090 LIGHTNING OCER editions. It is a special firmware intended for extreme overclocking, and MSI also states that warranty is voided when that mode is enabled. In other words, even if the file is genuine, it is not meant for everyday systems or normal tuning. Far from it.

It is also worth separating the 2500W XOC BIOS from the Lightning profiles that have already been floating around. Earlier leaks includes 800W and 1000W Lightning BIOS files which are official BIOS configs for RTX 5090 LIGHTNING models. But we have already seen BIOSes with higher power limits leaks in the past, it was just never over 2001W.

2000W-class XOC BIOS files have already circulated for ASUS RTX 5090 variants, and a theoretical 2001W BIOS has also been discussed around the GALAX RTX 5090D overclocking scene.
It goes without saying, but a single 12V-2×6 connector is designed for a 600W-class interface (theoretically), so even dual connectors are not a blanket approval for multi-kilowatt operation on a standard setup. Physically it makes no sense to even try, but if you have a couple of RTX 5090 spare, all of which happen to be limited edition LIGHTNING, then these are your cards after all.
