Radeon RX 9070 XT lowest price returns near ¥108,000 in Japan, down from ¥130,000 peak

Radeon RX 9000 series cards are starting to retreat from their early 2026 price spikes in Japan, according to a local price-tracking report from Gazlog. The same report says demand has cooled after retail prices climbed sharply in late December 2025 and January 2026, when buyers shifted to Radeon availability during tighter NVIDIA GeForce supply.
For the Radeon RX 9070 XT , the report lists a late-2025 baseline where the lowest price was around ¥95,000 and the average price was around ¥105,000. It says the market then peaked around January 15, 2026, with the lowest price reaching ¥130,000 and the average price reaching ¥144,000. As of February 19, 2026, it reports the lowest price at roughly ¥108,000 and the average price at roughly ¥124,000, a drop of about 15% from the peak levels.

The data tracking shows a steeper peak-to-current swing for the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB . It describes a baseline around November 2025 at roughly ¥50,000 for the lowest price and ¥56,000 for the average, followed by a late-January peak at roughly ¥78,000 lowest and ¥87,000 average. The latest figures in the report put the card at about ¥67,000 lowest and ¥71,000 average, which is close to a 20% decline from the peak average.

Memory pricing remains the key constraint on how far GPU street prices can fall. It is probably not wise to expect November 2025 pricing for Radeon GPUs anytime soon, but with the holiday shopping spree over and an overall PC hardware price increase, many users will put their plans for an upgrade on hold.
