Moore Threads AIBOOK uses a domestic SoC and GPU stack
Moore Threads, a company we better know for their MTT graphics cards (world’s first PCIe Gen5 cards), is apparently entering a new market. Spotted by RealVictor is a listing of the MTT AIBOOK laptop on the Chinese retail platform and official Moore Threads store. The system is apparently based on MTT own chip.
Moore Threads AIBOOK AB A1410 as an AI-focused notebook built around the company’s own SoC and software stack. The translation may be wrong, but materials describe a self-developed “Yangtze” SoC that combines CPU cores with a Moore Threads “full-function GPU,” plus MUSA as the unified software and driver architecture. From the Geekbench entry , we learn that the system uses a 12-thread ARMv8 chip with a base frequency of 2.65GHz. The SoC has 12 CPU cores, NPU capable of 50 TOPs (so basically AMD Strix Point level), and its own GPU, based on MUSA architecture.

What may surprise some is the system’s Windows support, but there is a major catch. It is not native support like Windows 11 on ARM, it is virtualization-based . You cannot run Windows natively on this laptop. It remains to be seen whether future platforms like Snapdragon X2 and NVIDIA N1 will make Windows on ARM more mainstream and accessible to more brands.

Moore Threads lists 32GB of LPDDR5X-7500 “unified memory,” paired with a 1TB SSD. JD’s spec table lists the CPU model as “M1000,” 32GB memory, 1TB storage, and an “AIOS” Linux-based operating system.

Display specs on the product page and slides list a 14-inch OLED panel at 2880×1800 with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Moore Threads also highlights chassis manufacturing, describing an all-CNC unibody made from “6-series” aluminum alloy with sandblasted and anodized surface treatment. The JD listing shows a 70Wh battery and a 1.5kg net weight, and it includes a 100W power adapter plus a “5-in-1” USB-C docking accessory.
