Not much, but it’s a start
Europe’s DDR5 retail market is showing early signs of cooling after weeks of extreme pricing. A community-shared chart tracking an “average” 32 GB DDR5 kit across the European Union suggests the curve has started to tilt downward, even as US pricing remains at record levels.
The chart sahred on Reddit shows that EU pricing held around €95 to €100 through early autumn 2025, then climbed hard from October and peaked in early February 2026 at roughly €430 to €470 for the average line. The same chart shows a late-period dip, but it does not clearly define the exact kit selection, countries, retailers, or tax handling. Keep in mind that the chart is from Tweakers pricewatch tool, and it is only for one memory kit.

Tom’s Hardware reviewed price history for five common 32 GB DDR5-6000/6400 dual-channel kits on Amazon Germany using CamelCamelCamel tracking. It reported the steepest recent drops on two kits, with Corsair falling from about €480 in early February to about €425, and Kingston sliding from about €550 in early January to €463 at the time of writing. Tom’s also noted that EU retail pricing typically includes VAT, which complicates direct comparisons with US listings.

This looks like a pullback from a peak, not DDR5 “back to normal.” Supply still looks tight, and the same demand and capacity limits that pushed pricing up can keep kits expensive for a while, even if some retailers start trimming prices.
We have seen the same thing on GPUs lately in Japan . Prices jump fast, then some listings slide back a bit, but a lot of models still sit above MSRP depending on the region.
