Matrox LUMA Pro A380 with 8x Mini DisplayPort 2.0

When was the last time you heard of a Matrox card? Thanks to the company’s partnership with Intel, Matrox is still releasing new cards. These models are not aimed at consumers. They target professional use cases like video workflows and large multi-display installations. Matrox has not announced any Battlemage-based models yet. Today’s update is limited to the company bringing its dual Intel Arc A380-based card to Japan.
Japan Material has announced domestic availability of Matrox’s LUMA Pro A380 Octal (LUMA-A380P8), a single-slot workstation card designed for high-density multi-display setups. The company says sales started on February 25, 2026, with pricing listed as open.
LUMA Pro A380 Octal uses two Intel Arc A380E GPUs and includes 12GB of GDDR6 memory. Display output is handled by eight secure Mini DisplayPort 2.0 connectors, with Matrox listing support for up to eight 5K60 HDR 12-bit outputs from a single card.

For larger installations, Matrox supports board-to-board framelock for up to two cards in one system. Official material also highlights a two-card setup for up to 16 synchronized 4K or 5K displays, targeting video walls, digital signage, control rooms, and monitoring environments.
On the platform side, the card uses PCIe 4.0 x16 and requires a single 6-pin PCIe power connector. Matrox lists a 130W power rating and active cooling, with dimensions of 26.45 cm length and 12.68 cm height, which matches the standard-height, single-slot form factor.
The company is also listing the A310 Quad and A380 Quad options alongside the new Octal model.
