Lenovo experimenting with concept PCs focusing on modular and dual-display designs
© Lenovo/Evan Blass (Modified) Lenovo is expected to show multiple concept PCs at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, which kicks off next week. Leaker Evan Blass says Lenovo’s MWC lineup includes a “ThinkBook Modular AI PC” concept, alongside other concept hardware.
The leaked ThinkBook Modular AI PC appears to keep a standard clamshell layout, but changes the lower half. In the renders, the area that is normally a fixed keyboard deck becomes a modular bay, with swappable parts.
One module shown is a conventional keyboard insert. Another module replaces the keyboard with a second display that matches the size of the primary screen. That would turn the system into a dual-screen setup without using a foldable panel.

Blass also references a Yoga Book Pro 3D, described as a dual-display design with glasses-free 3D viewing. The device includes a built-in stand, plus visible ports like HDMI and dual USB Type-C on the left side. Specifications have not been disclosed in the leaked material so far.

Lenovo has a recent track record of turning some prototype ideas into retail products, even if many remain show-floor concepts. Intel has described the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable as moving from proof-of-concept to a commercial product in under two years, and Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 “Auto Twist” has also been planned as a shipping device.
