Lenovo announces ThinkPad T-Series refresh, ThinkTab X11, and Magic Bay Tiko for MWC 2026
Lenovo used MWC 2026 to outline a broader business portfolio update that spans concepts, PCs, tablets, and accessories. The company is focusing the refresh on repairability, platform choice across major silicon partners, and enterprise security and services.
On the concept side, Lenovo showed the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept , built around a 14-inch base system with detachable modules. Lenovo says the secondary display and keyboard can be repositioned for different layouts, scaling the total viewing area to about 19 inches in some configurations. The concept also includes interchangeable I/O modules, such as USB Type-A, USB Type-C, and HDMI, using pogo-pin connectors for power and data.
For rugged mobility, Lenovo introduced the ThinkTab X11 under the Think brand. It uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform and is tested to MIL-STD-810H, with an IP68 rating. Lenovo highlights a screwless removable battery with a battery-less mode, dual USB-C ports, and front-mounted NFC for workflows like inventory and access control.
The ThinkPad T-Series refresh focuses on serviceability and collaboration upgrades across the lineup. Lenovo says select models get an optional 5MP camera with computer vision and vHDR, along with larger speakers, and it is adding a Cosmic Blue color option on ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T14s Gen 7. Lenovo also points to easier access to internal components and customer-replaceable parts like batteries and USB-C ports, plus references to iFixit repairability scoring for select systems.
Within the lineup, ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 and ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 are offered with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro or AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 Series processors, and Lenovo notes up to 30W TDP and LPCAMM2 memory on Intel T14 configurations.
ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 is positioned as the lightest T-Series model at about 1.1 kg, with a 58Wh battery, and configurations spanning Intel, AMD, and Snapdragon X2 Elite and Snapdragon X2 Plus platforms . Lenovo also detailed ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 Gen 2 with a garaged pen, and the ThinkPad X13 Detachable with a 13-inch display up to 500 nits, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, and up to 64GB of memory on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 configurations.
Lenovo also announced the ThinkBook 14 2-in-1 Gen 6 with Intel Core Ultra Series 3, a 360-degree hinge, and a 14-inch WUXGA touch display, and it tied the platform to the Magic Bay Tiko attachable companion. The ThinkVision M16 portable monitor rounds out the mobility add-ons with a 16-inch 16:10 panel and USB-C with power pass-through, supporting portrait or landscape use.
