Lenovo adds 180W USB-C charging for Strix Halo Legion 7a gaming laptop
Lenovo has now officially confirmed an AMD Strix Halo class Legion laptop. In its MWC 2026 consumer announcements, Lenovo introduced the Legion 7a (15”, 11) and Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11), both powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Series processors with unified memory architecture and integrated Radeon graphics.
For the Legion 7a, Lenovo positions the design around iGPU-only gaming, with no discrete GPU. Lenovo also confirms a 15.3-inch OLED panel and a 1.65 kg chassis for the Legion 7a (15”, 11).

© Lenovo The 15-inch Legion 7A is reported to support 180W charging over USB-C, alongside configurations built around a Ryzen AI Max Plus 392.
That 180W figure lines up with USB Power Delivery 3.1 Extended Power Range, which added new fixed voltage levels including 36V to enable higher tiers like 180W and 240W. If Lenovo is using standards-based USB PD at 180W, 36V at 5A is one of the defined ways to reach that wattage.
© Lenovo Lenovo also confirmed a Strix Halo-based Yoga option. The Yoga Pro 7a (15”, 11) is described as a creator-focused Copilot+ PC with up to 128GB unified memory, a 15.3-inch 2.5K OLED display, and up to 95W TDP, with EMEA availability listed for June 2026 starting at €2499.
Lenovo also working on NVIDIA N1X Legion laptop

Lenovo’s Legion Space compatibility list previously referenced a Strix Halo-coded Legion entry alongside a separate listing tied to NVIDIA N1X, Lenovo has now confirmed the Strix Halo side publicly, but it still has not announced any N1X-based Legion laptop.
