GMKtec EVO T2 teased as “coming soon”
GMKtec says its EVO T2 mini PC will be released soon. The company is again pointing to the system’s AI performance and positioning it as a “desktop AI” class device in a compact form factor.
This is not a new product announcement. GMKtec has already talked about the EVO T2 before, and it also showcased an EVO T3 system at CES 2026. The latest message is another release timing tease rather than a full specification reveal.
GMKtec has confirmed the EVO T2 will use Intel’s Core Ultra X9 388H . The company is describing this chip as its 2026 flagship mobile SoC, and it is the main platform detail tied to the T2 so far.
The headline number attached to the EVO T2 is “up to 180 TOPS” of AI performance. GMKtec is framing this as local AI compute, with the total coming from a combined CPU, GPU, and NPU figure rather than a single block.
GMKtec has not published final pricing or a specific launch date. Full configuration details, such as memory options, storage options, port selection, networking, and cooling targets, are still pending.
