OCCT v16.0.1 now available, includes Intel CPU tuning and UI changes
OCBASE has released OCCT v16.0.1. The update is available for both Windows and Linux, and it introduces a new System Tuning tool plus a new Intel-themed skin.
The System Tuning tool currently supports Intel CPUs starting with Granite Rapids (Xeon 600 series), which OCBASE says is part of its collaboration with Intel. OCBASE also says Arrow Lake CPU support is planned “in the coming weeks” via an open beta.
Inside the new tuning section, OCCT can apply CPU tuning adjustments and run stress tests in the same workflow. OCBASE lists per-core tuning as a key capability, and it also mentions per-core frequency steps for the upcoming Arrow Lake support.
© OCBASE OCBASE is shipping the feature with safeguards enabled by default. A Safe Mode toggle is on by default, and while it is enabled OCCT limits the maximum voltage that can be set. OCBASE says it plans to publish more beginner-focused information and tutorials in the coming weeks.
To support live parameter changes while a stress test is running, OCBASE redesigned parts of the UI. The ongoing test window is now placed on the right as a dedicated, collapsible panel, and the Intel skin can be selected from settings or downloaded from the OCCT download page.
