Only Radeon and RTX 5060 Ti price 8GB remains unchanged
Remember ASUS’s January notice about an upcoming price change? ASUS later tried to pull those posts down, saying the message was meant for partners, not consumers. We left our coverage up because the result is the same, pricing gets adjusted. The original note also did not mention which products would be affected, but graphics cards were an obvious candidate.
Prices have moved up since January. You can see it across most GeForce listings, without needing a tracker (or such posts). The models that tend to get hit first are the ones with stronger demand, including parts like the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The latter was supposedly hit by paused production, which NVIDIA categorically denied.
© ASUS According to Board Channel sources, ASUS has reportedly adjusted GPU pricing again, with the change said to have started in late February 2026. The update appears to focus on GeForce models, while Radeon pricing is said to be unchanged for now. The list is described as a “factory cost price adjustment,” which usually points to distributor or channel pricing rather than an official MSRP change.
- RTX 5090 D v2: +500 RMB (about +$72)
- RTX 5080 : +100 to +200 RMB (about +$14 to +$29) on lower-end models, other models unchanged
- RTX 5070 Ti: +200 to +300 RMB (about +$29 to +$43) on most models
- RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB: +100 RMB (about +$14) on most models
- RTX 5060 Ti 8GB : unchanged
- RTX 5060: +50 RMB (about +$7) on all models
- RTX 5050 , RTX 3050, GT 1030 and older entry-level SKUs: +40 to +55 RMB (about +$6 to +$8)
- AMD Radeon series : unchanged
The driver behind these adjustments is the same as before, higher component costs and ongoing memory supply pressure. China-specific channel changes are also worth watching because they can show up before similar adjustments in other regions. It is not a general rule. Also, we may have trouble seeing price hikes from ASUS GPUs, which were always more expensive than official MSRPs, even for models that were supposed to be at MSRP.
