Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme hits Geekbench with early Zenbook A16 results

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme X2E-96-100 has appeared in Geekbench, tied to an ASUS Zenbook A16 configuration with 48 GB of memory. The entry lists an 18-core setup and a 4.45 GHz base frequency.
In Geekbench 6.5 CPU testing, the system scores 4,033 points in single-core and 23,198 points in multi-core . These are early public results for the X2E-96-100 ahead of broader retail availability for Snapdragon X2 Elite laptops.
© Geekbench ASUS has already been showing the Zenbook A16 as part of its Copilot+ PC lineup, with Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme positioning at the top of that stack. This Geekbench entry aligns with that direction, including high memory configurations that target premium Windows on Arm designs.
If we look at data presented by Qualcomm in January, the Geekbench entry seems to be mostly identical. However, Geekbench is just one of the benchmarks, and Qualcomm’s success will likely depend on how well it runs on Windows for non-native apps rather than a single synthetic benchmark.
