TCL P2A: 2K up to 1040 Hz & MiniLED
TCL has announced the P2A Ultra series. The top model is the TCL 27P2A Ultra , which TCL describes as a Mini LED esports monitor built around refresh rate and motion clarity.
TCL claims the 27P2A Ultra reaches 550Hz at 2K resolution, and supports a dual-mode overclock that goes up to 1040Hz. I couldn’t find this information, but it looks that 1040Hz is rated for 720p resolution. TCL also says the monitor uses a TCL CSOT “HFS Shoot” high-speed panel, paired with the company’s “Tmoc Super Dynamic Sharpness” tuning.
© TCL TCL also confirmed several AI gaming features, including dark-area enhancement, faster recovery after flash effects, and dynamic crosshair color inversion for visibility against different backgrounds.
On the “world’s first” wording, TCL’s phrasing is specific to Mini LED at 1040Hz. Samsung has already marketed 1040Hz Dual Mode on its Odyssey G6 (G60H), but Samsung’s own spec table lists that model as an IPS panel rather than Mini LED.
© TCL Pricing was not announced for the 27P2A Ultra. TCL only shared pricing for other models at the same event, while the P2A Ultra is being positioned as the refresh-rate flagship that will ship later.
