Maxsun MS-iCraft X870M flagship board with built-in screen
Maxsun has listed the MS-iCraft X870M, a micro-ATX motherboard based on AMD’s X870 chipset. The board uses the AM5 socket and is positioned for Ryzen 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors. The motherboard was announced in December, but it is finally available for sale, although only in China.
© MAXSUN The board’s top feature is a built-in color screen designed for system monitoring and custom display content. Typically those screens and features are only as good as the software, and here we learn almost nothing about it. It looks like it will show some basic system information, and most likely, some custom graphics. MaxSun is also marketing an unlocked power target of up to 400W, and it supports even the highest-end Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU.

© MAXSUN On the memory side, Maxsun lists four DDR5 DIMM slots with up to 192GB support, plus AMD EXPO and overclocking up to DDR5-8400 . Storage includes three M.2 slots, one PCIe 5.0 x4 (2280) from the CPU and two PCIe 4.0 x4 (2280) from the chipset, plus two SATA 6Gbps ports.

© MAXSUN Connectivity includes Realtek 5GbE (RTL8126) and a MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4. Rear I/O lists two USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports alongside multiple USB 5Gbps and USB 2.0 ports, while the board also provides front USB-C support via an internal header.
The board has now appeared on Chinese retail with a listed price of 1999 RMB (around $280). Availability outside China has not been confirmed by Maxsun.
