HP Australia lists OMEN 35L with unannounced Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
HP Australia appears to have listed a new OMEN 35L gaming desktop with Intel’s unannounced Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor. The system is shown as HyperX OMEN 35L Gaming Desktop PC GT18-0007a, product code D89SQPA, with a starting price of AUD 5,499. This system also comesw ith GeForce RTX 5070, 16 GB of memory, and a 1 TB SSD.
That makes the listing interesting because Intel still has not announced any Core Ultra 200K Plus desktop processors. As we reported in February, Intel had dropped the rumored Core Ultra 9 290K Plus, while keeping the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus in the stack. If that report is accurate, the 270K Plus is now the highest remaining Arrow Lake Refresh SKU.

According to our information, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is expected to feature 24 cores and 24 threads in an 8P+16E configuration. This SKU will feature lists 5.5 GHz Turbo Boost Max, 5.4 GHz P-core turbo, 4.7 GHz E-core turbo, 36 MB of L3 cache, DDR5-7200 memory support, 125W base power, and 250W max turbo power.
As we previously described the chip is closer to a cut-down Core Ultra 9 285K than a normal follow-up to the Core Ultra 7 265K. The 270K Plus gets “4 extra e-cores and 6MB more L3 cache over 265K.” That would make this more than a simple clock update, at least on paper.
The HP listing is still not a launch announcement, and Intel has yet to publish official specifications or availability. As we reported, Intel will lift the embargo on March 11 (announcement) and will allow reviews to go live around March 23rd.
