Silo season 3 is expected to premiere later this year , but the show just got a big season 4 update too.

Apple TV has no shortage of compelling sci-fi series, with , , and most recently Monarch: Legacy of Monsters as prominent examples.

Another of the streamer’s sci-fi hits is Silo, which is expected to return for season 3 this year.

Because of the series’ success, Apple gave it an early renewal for not only season 3 but also season 4. And season 4 will conclude the show.

And today in a , Apple confirmed that Silo season 4 has already completed filming.

Silo’s season 2 finale aired in early 2025, and season 3 is expected this fall. That would make for just shy of a two-year gap between seasons.

But since season 4 is already done filming, we should expect a much quicker turnaround between seasons 3 and 4.

If Silo season 3 does air this fall, it’s likely that season 4 will follow within a year—or maybe even less.

The first two seasons of the show only covered the . Based on comments from creator and showrunner Graham Yost, it sounds like the final two seasons will intersperse events from books 2 and 3 rather than following the strict written chronology.
