Khadas Mind 2 eGPU is quite expensive
Khadas has started selling its Mind Graphics 2 for $1,349. The module uses NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5060 Ti desktop GPU with 16GB GDDR7 memory, and that price places it far above regular desktop RTX 5060 Ti 16GB cards. In comparison to several desktop models currently listed by retailers, Mind 2 is more than twice as expensive, given you can find 16GB models at around $550 to $590.
The key detail is that Mind Graphics 2 is not a standard add-in board that can later be moved into another desktop. It is a proprietary external graphics module built around the Khadas Mind ecosystem, using the company’s magnetic Mind Link connection. Khadas says that link provides a native PCIe 4.0 x8 path, and quotes up to 128 GT/s with Mind 2, compared with 64 GT/s for OCuLink and 32 GT/s for Thunderbolt 4.

However, is not locked to Khadas Mind alone. Khadas also says the rear USB-C 40 Gbps port can provide GPU acceleration over Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB4 when the unit is not connected to a Mind system. So this is still usable as an eGPU dock for other supported hosts, but it remains a self-contained proprietary enclosure rather than a desktop graphics card you can later reuse as a normal PCIe upgrade.

Mind Graphics 2 also includes much more than the GPU itself. Khadas lists a built-in 350W PSU for the 180W GPU, plus 10 I/O ports that turn the unit into a full desktop expansion dock. Those include HDMI 2.1b, DisplayPort 2.1b, 2.5GbE, USB-C, USB-A, an SD 4.0 reader, and a 3.5 mm jack. The enclosure also integrates dual speakers, dual microphones, and a fingerprint reader.

For existing Khadas Mind users, the product is clearly positioned as an all-in-one desktop dock that adds graphics, power delivery, and port expansion in one box. For everyone else, the price will be an issue. Also, there are hardly any reviews available, at least not from actual GPU reviewers.
