Intel adds Arc Pro B70 to official website, launch may be close

Intel Arc Pro B70 appears on Intel support page ahead of expected launch

Intel has now listed the Arc Pro B70 on an official support page for its Arc Pro B-Series graphics family. The page shows three products, Arc Pro B70, Arc Pro B60, and Arc Pro B50. It suggests the card is getting close to launch, however the link is broken and does not link to any product yet.

This follows earlier reporting on Intel’s LLM-Scaler release notes, which referenced “G31 validation” and a “non-golden setup B70 system.” That did not spell out the full product stack, but it was already a strong hint that Arc Pro B70 is tied to the long-rumored BMG-G31 GPU.

Based on our information , Arc Pro B70 is expected to use the larger BMG-G31 Battlemage silicon with up to 32 Xe2 cores and 32GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. That would place it above the current Arc Pro B60, which Intel lists with 20 Xe-cores, while its official Arc Pro B-Series page describes the B60 as a 24GB workstation GPU. In other words, B70 looks like Intel’s next step up for workstation and local AI workloads, rather than a gaming-first product.

Now in terms of launch timing, there’s no official word yet, but it lines up with Intel’s Core Ultra 200K Plus desktop refresh. As we previously said, Arc Pro B70 could arrive this quarter alongside Arrow Lake Refresh, and we confirmed that on March 11 Intel will announce the Core Ultra 200K Plus reveal. Perhaps both products are set for similar launch timing; we will see in the coming week or two.

Unfortunately, the Arc Pro B70 is not for gaming, although nothing will prevent anyone from using it for gaming. In fact, Arc GPU drivers do support the Arc Pro series, so it will be interesting to see the first reviews focusing on gaming regardless of what Intel’s plans were. We are not hearing any chatter on Arc B770, though.
