MSI announces new RTX 5070 Ti
MSI has announced a new Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End limited-edition hardware series, led by the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G FRIEREN EDITION OC. The company is also releasing matching peripherals, including a keyboard, mouse, and mouse pad as part of the same collaboration.
The graphics card is based on the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (yet another example of a new card that was supposedly on the chopping block) and uses MSI’s TRI FROZR 4 cooling design. MSI lists a 2580 MHz Extreme Performance clock through MSI Center and a 2572 MHz boost clock in Gaming and Silent modes. The card also carries 8960 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28 Gbps, and a 256-bit memory bus.

MSI rates the card at 300W and equips it with a single 16-pin power connector, with a 750W PSU recommendation. Display outputs include three DisplayPort 2.1b connectors and one HDMI 2.1b port, while the card itself measures 338 x 140 x 50 mm. MSI’s product page also confirms Dual BIOS support and a metal backplate with a thermochromic area that reveals hidden artwork when the card heats up.
The design is built around MSI’s Gaming Trio platform, but the company adds custom fan labels, themed artwork, RGB lighting, and a Frieren-style backplate treatment. MSI also shows the card shipping in a themed gift box and says the package includes a bundled blanket tied to the collaboration.

Outside the GPU, MSI’s Frieren lineup includes the FORGE TKL WIRELESS FRIEREN EDITION keyboard, the VERSA WIRELESS FRIEREN EDITION mouse, and the AGILITY FRIEREN EDITION mouse pad. MSI says the mouse uses a PixArt PAW3395 sensor, supports up to 26,000 DPI, and weighs 65 grams, while the keyboard uses a tenkeyless layout, linear switches, and a layered sound-dampening structure.
MSI has not listed pricing in the announcement or on the global product specification page at publication time. The company also notes that availability may vary by market, which suggests regional rollout details will follow later.
I’m not really into Frierer Lora, but what is the blanket for? For a minute I thought it was a towel to wipe tears after an expensive purchase.
