GMKtec EVO-T2 launches in China, global pricing still not announced

GMKtec has officially introduced the EVO-T2 , a new mini PC built around Intel’s Panther Lake platform and aimed at local AI workloads. The company says the system will be offered with I ntel Core Ultra X9 388H and Core Ultra X7 358H processors, both 16-core chips with 4P, 8E, and 4 LP-E cores. GMKtec rates the system at up to 180 TOPS from combined CPU, GPU, and NPU resources, and says it is designed to handle local models up to 70 billion parameters.
The platform is also one of the first compact systems built around Intel 18A client silicon. Both processors pair that CPU layout with Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, 12 Xe cores, ray tracing support, and DirectX 12 Ultimate support.

China availability has already started, but the global rollout is still taking shape. GMKtec’s launch post says the EVO-T2 has gone live on JD.com in China and that global availability on the company’s site is being prepared.

GMKtec’s public EVO-T2 page currently shows a presale signup, but pricing appears to vary by listing. One reported configuration pairs the Core Ultra X7 358H with 64GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD at RMB 14,999, or about $2,100 to $2,200 depending on exchange rate. At the time of writing, the visible listing appears closer to RMB 16,500 instead.
GMKtec is also advertising a 100-unit launch offer at RMB 9,999, roughly $1,400. We would treat that as limited early-bird pricing rather than the standard retail price.
