CANBERRA -- The Reserve Bank of Australia's board on Tuesday decided to hike the interest rate by 25 basis points from 3.85% to 4.10%, amid fears the oil price surge caused by the U.S.-Israel war with Iran will further add to inflation expectations and make taming price rises more difficult.
