Japan, US eye joint development of AI shipbuilding robots

TOKYO -- Japan and the U.S. will collaborate on developing artificial intelligence robots for shipbuilding, a sector that President Donald Trump has pledged to revitalize in the U.S., looking to reach an agreement at their summit set for Thursday in Washington.
