EK launches single-slot water block for RTX PRO 6000 Server and MAX-Q cards – the price is a mystery

EK by LM TEK has introduced a new EK-Pro GPU water block for NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell cards, and the main detail is the form factor. This is a true single-slot liquid cooling solution , aimed at dense workstation and server builds where slot spacing matters. EK says the block is designed for the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition and the MAX-Q Workstation Edition.
The compatibility note is just as important as the launch itself. EK says this block is not compatible with the reference RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition , which is the model using the cooler design that resembles NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition. That means buyers will need to check the exact card version before ordering, because the workstation family now includes multiple board and cooler layouts.

Systems with up to eight GPUs in a 4U chassis are among the high-density deployments for which EK is positioning this product. The block uses a full-cover design that cools the GPU, memory, and VRM, while the included backplate also helps pull heat from the rear side of the PCB. EK also highlights quick-disconnect fittings, which are meant to simplify servicing in rack systems without draining the whole loop.

The hardware itself uses a nickel-plated copper cold plate, a stainless steel top, and a custom single-slot I/O structure that replaces the stock bracket. I

One unusual part of the launch is pricing, or the lack of it. EK has not published a retail price for the block, and the product page reportedly only says “ask for quote.” That is not typical for a product announcement like this.
