AX GeForce RTX 5070 Sakura Limited Edition launches with pink shroud, magnetic backplate

AX has introduced the GeForce RTX 5070 Sakura Limited Edition 12GB, a themed custom card built around NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture. The card is positioned as the first entry in the company’s new Four Seasons series and pairs the launch with a new anime character called Xue Li .
On the hardware side, AX lists 6,144 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR7 memory, which matches the standard GeForce RTX 5070 configuration. The company also says the card supports DLSS 4 and DLSS 4.5, while its product page references DLSS 5 for a later rollout. AX markets the card for 1440p esports gaming and 4K single-player titles, but it did not publish clocks or board power in the announcement.

The card uses a cherry blossom pink and white color scheme, a dual-fan cooler, themed fan hubs, ARGB side lighting, and a full-length backplate with custom artwork. AX also says the side GeForce RTX logo uses a cut-out design with integrated lighting. I do not think I have seen this type of logo on RTX 50 cards yet.

One of the more unusual features is the removable magnetic backplate. AX says the plate is held in place by six magnets and can be removed without tools to access the power connector area. The company includes a 2×8-pin to 16-pin adapter and says the cooler has routing space that helps hide the power cable from both the front and side view.
AX is also treating this model as a limited-run release. According to the announcement, the Sakura Limited Edition will be sold for a fixed period and in limited quantities, with no re-production planned after sales end. The company did not disclose pricing.
