MSI Modern 14S and 16S appear with Intel Core Series 3 non-AI models, single DDR5 slot listed
MSI has quietly shown that its new Modern 14S and 16S laptops will not all use the same Intel platform. Coverage is from an event in Tokyo says the Modern 14S/16S AI+ models use Intel Core Ultra Series 3, while the standard Modern 14S/16S use Intel Core Series 3 instead. Intel has already said the wider Series 3 family includes both Core Ultra and lower-tier Core branding, so MSI’s lineup now appears to span both tiers.

The Modern 14S/16S AI+ models have two DDR5 memory slots (Panther Lake), while the non-AI+ versions drop to a single DDR5 slot (Wildcat Lake). According to reports, the chassis and ports.
