SuperMicro confirms support for Arc Pro B70

Supermicro confirms Intel Arc Pro B70 support on SYS-212B-FN2T

Supermicro has added Intel Arc Pro B70 Graphics to the supported GPU list for its SYS-212B-FN2T, a 2U front I/O edge AI server. The company lists the card on the live product page, and the current datasheet also names Arc Pro B70 alongside Arc Pro B50 and Arc Pro B60 variants.

The SYS-212B-FN2T is based on a single Socket E2 platform for Intel Xeon 6700 and 6500 series processors. Supermicro says the system can be configured with up to four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, supports up to two double-width or three single-width GPUs, and uses PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU connectivity.

Of course the news here is that Intel has not officially announced B70 yet, this will only happen next week, so clearly Supermicro jumped the gun on this one. As we have reported , Intel is preparing Arc Pro B70 and B65 workstation cards for a March 25 announcement.

Those reports claim Arc Pro B70 will use 32 Xe2 cores, 32GB of ECC GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, and board power ranging from 160W to 290W depending on implementation, but Intel has not confirmed those specifications on its own product pages yet.

For now, Supermicro’s page confirms platform support, not retail availability or final card specs, they do not even mention if these are Intel branded models for now.
